Welcome to Kip McGrath Education Centre Palma de Mallorca, where our goal is to provide a relaxed, friendly and motivating centre which makes learning fun and engaging.

We are proud to offer the first Kip McGrath Education centre in Spain.

Kip McGrath offers an individual programme of study, which is designed to compliment current school activities and support any development needs of your child. This is done through an initial FREE assessment and consultation with our qualified tutors. Our tutors are experienced in building a tailored learning programme to suit each individual child which is regularly updated as your child develops.

Kip McGrath’s resources have been developed, refined and proven over the last 20 years. Currently there are 680 centres across 20 countries.

Our centre here in Palma is run by the Centre Directors, Julie Staley and Juliet (Jay) Hirons. We have many years experience of teaching.

Both Jay and Julie are aware of the need for the children of local residents to develop their mutli-lingual skills to ensure a future where they can compete both locally and on the international business stage. Jay explains "The centre will assist both native English speakers and Catalan, Spanish or other nationalities to improve or develop their level of English or Mathematics"  

We believe whatever your child’s abilities we can help them achieve their aims; whether this is to gain more confidence, motivation or enjoyment from their learning.  

What We Do

 

Our professional tutoring is available for preschool, primary and secondary children of all abilities. Sessions are 80 minutes duration, consisting of 6 different activities, guided by the tutor.

We can help your child in any of the following disciplines, which are taught in English:

  • English language
  • Reading
  • Spelling
  • Mathematics

We also offer specialised courses:

  • Getting Ready for School
  • Study Skills
  • Essay Writing
  • English as a Second Language

We ensure that the programmes offer challenge but are never overwhelming. There is a combination of innovative, interactive computer activities, text books, activity sheets and tutor input. This ensures that concepts are thoroughly understood before progressing to the next stage.

      Tutoring times

      Our sessions are designed to run after school Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings. We also offer weekday morning sessions for preschool children.

      We are open during the summer school holidays for ongoing tuition and activities to get your child ready for school.
